In the bizPaaS platform, compute resources are created by designating reserved (fixed) and dynamic (variable) CPU and RAM resources, which are fixed across the entire platform and called cloudlets.
1 cloudlet = 128 MiB RAM + 400 Mhz CPU.
1 GB RAM and 1 CPU core (3.2 Ghz) is equivalent to 8 cloudlets.
These cloudlets are reserved for you upfront through the portal. Even if you use fewer resources, you will still need to pay for the full amount of cloudlets you initially reserved.
